For those of you who knew Jamie as a child, it's probably no surprise to you that she's an actress. Friends and colleagues who know the big kid Jamie, it's probably no surprise to you that she was dedicated to her craft right from the get go.
She fell in love with storytelling. She dressed up as the characters she adored in her favourite movies and put on shows for anyone willing to be an attentive audience member. Performing is where Jamie thrived. And a career as anything other than an actress was not an option, nor was it as exciting!
So here we are almost three decades later, (yes, she just shared her age with you ;) and Jamie's work on film and in the theatre is full of heart, texture and nuance.
Her most recent performances include: Online Encounters (Discovery ID); Charming Monsters (Afterglow Theatre); Pete Winning and the Pirates Season 2 (Mike Donis), and the indie horror flick, Late Night Double Feature (Three Evil Cats Productions).
Jamie is a graduate of the Theatre Arts Performance program at Humber College, where she studied extensively in physical and devised creation. In her second year, Jamie was the recipient of the Edna Khubyar Theatre Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Since entering the industry in 2009, Jamie has studied Film and TV Acting at Pro Actors Lab, and currently with Salvatore Antonio at Armstrong Acting Studios.
Stay tuned! This website is where Jamie will keep you posted on all her upcoming work. So check back often. Then tell your friends of friends, tell your cat, what exciting things our Toronto gal is up to. Looking forward to sharing her career with you! xo
